1st Youth Meeting of Turkey / Trabzon / 23-27 February 2011

We are bringing together 100 young people in Trabzon on 23-27 February, 2011 from 81 cities of Turkey, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Turkic Republics and other countries all around the world in the name of 1st Youth Meeting of Turkey in connection with the independence day of Trabzon city organized by The Youth Council of Trabzon Municipality.
The activities to be held will contribute to the action called "Creating brand image" of Trabzon city with "BRAND CITY" strategy taking part in the study of Ministry of Culture and Tourism called "Tourism Strategy of Turkey in 2023 Action Plan 2007-2013".
Before European Olympic Youth Festival to be held in Trabzon in 2011, we aim to inform about the Olympic games and 2011 process to the young people to join from every cities of Turkey, TRNC, Turkic Republics, and all over the world with this organization. These young representatives will be able to share their information about 2011 process of Trabzon with other young people and also the people in their society when they turn back to their own hometowns and countries. Each of them will become an Olympic messenger this way.
It will also be a breakthrough by overlapping the date of the organization with the independence day of Trabzon city and leading the renewal of "the image of the city and youth" besides its sociological and cultural sides with no doubt.

DEADLINE : 07th February 2011
Application forms will be evaluated on 08th February, 2011 and the participants will be declared on our website.
NOTE: Travel costs of the participants from their hometowns/countries to Trabzon should be met by the institutions they represent or personally. Food &drink, accommodation, airport to hotel/hotel to airport transfer costs and other travel costs inside the city will be met by the organization coordinators. No daily or travel allowance will be given to the participants.
